Major Adams Community Committee (MACC) First Annual "Legends of the West" Gala

MACC event guests and supporters are still raving about the fantastic makeover of the MACC gymnasium into the official 2007 MACC Gala Ballroom.                                               

Over 300 guests enjoyed the well attended affair which was emceed by WVON Personality Richard Steele. Included upon event VIPS, honorees and distinguished guests were NBC-TV anchor Warner Saunders, IL Secretary of State Jessie White, Malcolm X President Dr. Zerrie Campbell, Alderman Walter Barnett, Judge Dorothy Jones, Actress Tina Weisnger, Richard Sciortino-President of Brinshore Development, State Rep Art Turner and IL Senators Hendon and Hunter.

A! List Events Worldwide (http://www.alistme.com/) was first approached in 2004 to provide marketing and event services for a MACC fundraiser. "When our agreement was signed in December confirming 2007 was definitely going to be the year for the event it was almost surreal...." shared Anita Wilson-Meeting and Events Director for the company. "I am pleased the attendees were visibly moved and ‘positively wowed’ upon seeing the vision materialize. It was a long time coming, but I am proud we have yet another elated client."

The company not only produced and managed the event and program but also created all of the marketing collateral surrounding the event including the new MACC Logo and business stationary, Save the Date cards, Event related forms, Program Book and Signage (banners).  "We could not have put on an event on this scale without A! List Events Worldwide. Having our guests received on the red carpet... the entire transformation of the gymnasium from gym to banquet room was just incredible!" shared MACC Executive Director Ken Butler.

His sentiments were echoed by MACC President Keith Jackson "Everyone thought the event was fabulous!  I'm glad you A! List Events Worldwide stuck in there with us." One of the Gala honorees and MACC namesake James "Major" Adams shared "She Anita really did a wonderful, wonderful job. It was just one of the best events I have ever seen."  One guest noted, “I don’t know who is responsible for all this, but to borrow a quote from Major ‘OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY!”
